Seed Time and Harvest
Lesson # 2
Genesis 1:26; Man has been given authority over the Earth.
- "Seed time and harvest" Genesis 8:22, While the Earth Remains, seed time and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease." (Amplified)
2." The Sower Sows the Seed ' Matthew 13, The Word of God is the Seed. God is the Sower. (When Man speaks God's Word, the Man is sowing, but it is God speaking through the Man.) Man's heart is the Earth.
- [Dirt / Farming / Physical] The Sower is the one "casting the seed to the soil." The Seed contains everything in it to produce a complete crop. (In raising a crop or plant)
- The Earth is the "Heart." Depending on the Soil Condition will determine the Physical harvest. (30%, 60%, or 100%)
- Spiritual Planting (John 6:63) "It is the Spirit that Quickens [makes alive], the flesh profits nothing: the Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are life." [God's Word will make anything come alive]
- God is the /Sower; He casts [or plants] the Seed (The Word of God / Jesus)
- The seed has everything inside itself to produce the Plant [You, unless you have a stony and hard heart] and will produce: 30%, 60%, or 100%. (Colossians 2:9, "For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead Bodily,")
An example would be Psalm 51:10, "Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. (11) Cast me not away from your presence; and take not thy Holy Spirit from me. (12) Restore unto me the joy of your salvation; and uphold me with thy free [2 Chronicles 29:31; Clean of Heart] Spirit.
Do you like this, Prayer? Pretty powerful for a man asking God for deliverance of murder and adultery.
You see, David did not have the Holy Spirit living inside Him 24/7. All of His victories were when David would yield himself enough to let the Holy Spirit do God's Work through him for a specific task.
However, David did not have enough power, faith, or authority to forgive sins. Jesus had not died for sin and redeemed us through God's work on the Cross.
Now, let us look at this through the New Testament vernacular.
"Create in me a clean heart." 2 Corinthians 5:17-21; Ezekiel 36:26, Jeremiah 31:33, Hebrews 8:10.
"Cast me not away from Your Presence." Hebrews 13:5-6; Deuteronomy 31:6-8
"Restore unto me the Joy of My Salvation." Ephesians 4:30
Okay, you get the idea.
If you have been born again, build on that relationship of Who I am in Jesus Christ.
Try this Prayer: Heavenly Father, I come into Your Presence with Praise and thanksgiving knowing that because of Your Word that is written, 1 Corinthians 1:27-31 and 1 Corinthians 2:12-16; that I have been forgiven, made clean, restored my relationship with you and You will never leave me or forsake me. In Jesus Name, Amen.
