This will be season 4, episode 4, Your Opportunity. It will publish on January 22, 2024. Your Foundation Scriptures John 10:10, Matthew 28: 17-20,. Romans 12, verse 21. John 10:10, the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that you may have and enjoy life and have it in abundance to the full, until it overflows. That's the Amplified. Matthew 28, verse 17-20,. And when they saw him, they fell down and worshipped him. But some doubted. Jesus approached, breaking the silence, said to them All authority, all power rule in heaven and in earth has been given to me. Go, then, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you all the days, perpetually, uniformly and on every occasion, to the very close and consummation of the age. Amen, so let it be. That is amplified. Romans 12, verse 21. Do not let yourself be overcome by evil, but overcome or master evil with good. That is amplified. In other words, evil wins when we live first for ourselves, our rights and our own good instead of the good of others. Your first foundation scripture, John 10, 10, lets you know that you can live above the evil in this world. Jesus plainly says the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy, but that he has come to destroy the works of the devil. That would be 1 John 3, 8. So Jesus, who is God, came to earth, fulfilled Abrahamic covenant and, with his own divine blood, sacrificed, defeated the devil and turned all power and authority over to the believer and gave us the necessary tools to continually defeat the devil. Jesus is the head and he is living through us, or should be, because we are the body of Christ. What part of the body are you? First and foremost, I am a servant to Jesus Christ. As a Minister or Chaplain or Teacher, sometimes a Prophet, I get to teach and preach the Word of God; a very serious assignment. Matthew 28, verses 17-20, clearly states that we are to go into the world and make disciples of the nations. But a lot of us have become confused and instead we pay more attention to getting and making converts. That is not a bad thing to do, but when you don't make disciples of the nations, it opens the door for governments, branches of government, police authorities and social structures to stray and not conform to Christian values and statues. Because of that secular action, we wind up devising plans and well-meaning laws that try and please everyone, and thus we trample on the rights of innocent human beings while promoting a minority to a higher position. When we do this, we wind up off track, not supporting Israel, who is the only country that God said belonged to him. The Jewish population in the world is about 0.2% of the population, 14 million Jews. Israel is 8,550 square miles, a little larger than Rhode Island. What do we do with Psalm 122, 6-8, where God instructs us to pray for Jerusalem. Psalm 122, 6-8 says Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May they prosper who love you, the holy city. May peace be within your walls and prosperity within your palaces. For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say Peace be with you. It is easy to see through history that ever since God chose Israel, the devil has tried everything to eradicate Israel and the Jewish state. It is still early in 2024. Why don't you set some goals and resolutions that a Christian should be striving for? Let's see what we can come up with. Since this is an election year, why not volunteer to help out counting votes or actively supporting your candidate? But before you do, check and make sure you understand your candidate's position? One of our biggest problems is we have elected a bunch of people that do not have Christian values or ethics or morals into our government, and they have passed laws that are contrary to God's way. Now what about registering to vote? Help out in nursing homes. Help out with the Salvation Army. Get involved in local government. Get involved in church. If you don't like the way your church is headed, pray for them. Maybe it is time to change. More than likely, maybe it's time to pray for the Pastor, the Minister and get your church in and up to date. Pray for them. How about praying for the president and the vice president? Well, not my president. Yes, he is Illegal, legal, whatever he is acknowledged as being the president of the United States. Pray for him. If you don't know what to pray, pray that he comes closer to walk with Jesus Christ, so that he'll do things that are right and be convicted in his heart of things that are wrong and according to go against Christian values. Pray for his salvation. Praise the Lord. Give the Lord. Praise for this nation, in this country, that we're not further down the drain as it is, that we're coming back, that we're turning around. Everybody's talking about the fall of America and the decline of America. I wonder if anybody's told God that we still got a lot of blessings in this world and this country. Refuse to rinse and repeat last year. You're not going to change anything. If all you do is gripe and complain and do the same thing you did last year, I don't know what you have to do to change. You do. God knows. He'll show you. Love your neighbor by showing your love instead of just saying empty words. Bake him a cake, give him a track, give him a CD, invite him to your church, attend school events and pay attention to what is being taught. We already have circumstances being reported that some schools are promoting certain changes to minors without the parent's consent. That's ridiculous. Children need to be loved and cared for by their parents or close relatives. If they don't have parents, not by some you know government-run daycare. Pay attention to our state federal and presidential candidates. Pray for those in office that they adhere to and follow Christian principles. Say what you want, but it is the Christians that have given this world hope and peace. Specifically, it is the love of God that makes this world prosperous and a great place to live, especially in America. Why do you think we have people streaming across the border? Show me communist countries or socialistic countries that have people streaming to get in. You won't find them. It's our blessings from God Almighty that are driving everybody in here, pushing everybody in here. It's our officials not paying attention and controlling it that is causing the problems. There's plenty to go around, but you've got to do it according to God's principles and blessings. Don't get me started on defunding the police and tearing down our monuments. If you would obey the laws and enforce our current ones. The result would be law and order, not chaos and destruction. Get the right people in there, to where we make good decisions. I think you get the idea. The United States was founded on Judeo-Christian statues has made a wonderful place in the world. Let's go back to our roots before our time runs out. Make a resolution, make a vow, start a movement. Do something besides bemoaning the others and griping about everybody else. Otherwise, we're liable to lose it all.
